It is a great honor and pleasure to invite you and your family members to participate in the “Friends of Tibet Kudumba Mela” or a “family get-together” at the Vyabar Bhavan, TB Road, Ottapalam on Sunday, March 11, 2012.
This informal event organised by the Wellbeing Tibetan Medical Camp participants of Ottapalam will honour Dr Dorjee Rapten Neshar, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tenzin Norbu, Medical Officer and other staffs of Men-Tsee-Khang, the Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. This is also to express our sincere gratitude to the members of the Tibetan medical institute and our solidarity with the Tibetan people in their struggle for independence. The first Tibetan Medical Camp in Kochi jointly organised by Men-Tsee-Khang and Friends of Tibet to coincide with the first visit of HH the Dalai Lama to Kochi city has completed 18 monthly camps since September 04, 2010.
Programme:
09.00am: Prayer
09:05am: Welcome speech by Shri Rajsankar Unnikrishnan
09:15am: Welcoming the Tibetan Medical Team members by presenting “Ponnadas”
09:30am: Guest Lecture by Dr Dorjee Rapten Neshar, CMO, Tibetan Medical Centre followed by a question and answer session.
10:30am:-11:30am: Screening of “Blue Buddha: Lost Secrets of Tibetan Medicine” (CBC Documentary)
11:30am-12:30pm: Interaction with Tibetan Doctors
12:30pm: Lunch
